Jesus made our purpose in life clear in two statements commonly known as the Greatest Commandment and the Great Commission.

Love God.  Love each other.  Love those that don’t know Jesus.  This is why we are here, to spread a passion for Jesus, His people and purposes in the earth.  We do this by creating opportunities for all people to encounter God and be inspired to live a life abandoned to Him.  We build life on life relationships to spur one another on to follow Jesus.  And we empower one another to advance the kingdom of God in the sphere of influence he has given us.

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[c] This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.

Matthew 22:37-38

Then Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20

Together, we are seeking to become a church planting movement that makes disciple makers, multiplies churches & develops transformational leaders throughout our city, our nation and the nations of the world. We believe God has called us to effect 600,000 people for the kingdom of God in the greater Houston Metroplex and beyond. We seek to partner with other Great Commission groups in the city to multiply house churches among every identifiable people group in the Greater Houston area and among unreached, unengaged people groups in the world.

To accomplish this apostolic vision we seek revival. We hunger for the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. We gather larger congregations (campus’) to catalyze the work of the Holy Spirit through worship services, prayer gatherings and other ministries. We long for His presence to be so tangible among us that it will be clear to an unbelieving world that God is with us.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
— Acts 1:8

We see in our future a culture of passionate prayer and worship. We see a great awakening with the return of believers, the healing of the sick and the salvation of the lost. We see joyful, Acts 2:41-47 house churches (Lifegroups) springing up everywhere. We see transformed lives and families. We see the church fully alive. We seek the light of the gospel dispelling the darkness. We see human trafficking eradicated.  We see kingdom transformation in every sphere of society. We see disciple - making movements becoming church planting movements. We see the great commission accomplished. We see Jesus returning. We see a perfect world with Him forever.
